These Terms apply to your use of Tweaknook, including its written guides and browser-based tools. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and to take reasonable care with your own files, accounts, settings, and devices.
Guides are informational
Tweaknook provides general technical and workflow information. Product interfaces, limits, policies, and account behavior can change. A guide may not match every device, managed workspace, browser, region, or software version. Tweaknook does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice.
Browser tools
Tweaknook tools are provided as utilities to assist with a specific check. HotkeyRadar cannot inspect every installed program, extension, remapper, keyboard layout, or custom system setting. SeqName infers patterns from filenames and can mark ambiguous sequences for review; it does not rename files automatically. You remain responsible for reviewing a result before making changes.
Backups and destructive actions
Keep appropriate backups before deleting, replacing, renaming, or overwriting important data. A tool export or suggested workflow is not a substitute for a backup strategy. Do not use the site as the sole control for a safety-critical or irreversible operation.
Third-party services and links
Guides may link to Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, browser vendors, standards bodies, and other third-party services. Those services control their own products, terms, privacy practices, availability, and documentation. Tweaknook is not affiliated with those companies merely because their documentation is cited.
Availability and warranties
The site and tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular result, search ranking, advertising approval, revenue, or that every detected issue is complete or error-free.
Acceptable use
You must not intentionally interfere with the site, attempt to misuse its infrastructure, or use the tools to process data you are not authorized to handle. You may use the public tools and guides for ordinary personal or organizational workflow purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
Content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, original Tweaknook text, interface design, and site-specific materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party product names and marks belong to their respective owners. You may link to Tweaknook pages, but you may not republish substantial portions as your own content without permission.
